RSS is a way of collecting information from different - chosen by the user - sources. Every well administrated web page should have (has) RSS. I can 'subscribe' to a web page by coping it's RSS URL code. The information from the web pages i've subscribed to, will be send and updated in my account on Bloglines (is there another tool apart from bloglines?).
Bloglines is a tool to read and collect the information which was sent with RSS method.
With RSS i can also display other web sites on my weblog(what if 'the other' doesn't want it? ). It can be done using FeedSweep. FeedSweep is link between RSS and weblogs. In FeedSweep I put all the RSS codes from the web pages i want to display on my weblog, and then it gives me a code (is it a code i html?) and i paste this code in a proper place in my weblog (proper place is 'free text' side bar).
I think i understand it .-)
